Geekcorps completes customs telecommunications survey of East Africa

The East and Central Africa Global Competitiveness Hub (ECA Trade Hub), in its efforts to strengthen the capacity of ECA countries to participate more effectively in a multilateral trading system, asked Geekcorps to complete a telecommunciations survey of selected border posts between Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda.
The primary goal of the survey was to analyze the telecommunications infrastructure at nine specific border posts in the region which will be using a Customs Information Systems in the near future.
