Microsoft & Geekcorps Team Up - Microsoft Developer Experts Wanted

Microsoft LogoMicrosoft and IESC Geekcorps have teamed up to send Microsoft developer experts to participate as volunteers in the Access to International Markets Through Information Technology (AIM-IT) project in Lebanon.

Microsoft Volunteer Experts will deliver briefing sessions and workshops to Lebanese software development companies, and in addition participate in selected engagements with partners and customers to help them deploy the tools and methodologies listed below by providing a proof of concept.

Skills Needed
IESC Geekcorps is in need of Volunteer Experts for the AIM-IT program in Lebanon to conduct training in the following types of tools and methodologies:

  • Microsoft Solution Framework - Explain how the MSF team model is used.
  • Visual Studio 2005 Team System & Team Foundation Server – Instruct in the use of the VS Team System & Team Foundation Server to coordinate and facilitate the work of team members in order to streamline the development process.
  • Software Project Management - Enhance software engineering processes by providing training in software project management best practices.

You can be a Microsoft employee or a member of the community of developers around the world who develop on the Microsoft platform.
